On the way to camp III

„Rigging the ropes towards camp III on Makalu La pass (7,400 m) is still continued” – reports Artur Hajzer – leader of the expedition to Makalu.

The unification expedition of Polish Mountaineering Association to the fifth mountain of the world is organized as a part of Polish Winter Himalayan Mountaineering 2010-2015 program. Our Himalayan mountaineers plan to reach the peak without oxygen via route of the first conquerors from 1955. The last ascent in this style was done by Poles (Kopyś-Kołakowski) 22 years ago.
